The work “Root Garden”, by Clara Palomar, has been the most valued by the audience of the 34th International Ceramic Contest of l’Alcora (CICA) 2014 exhibition. It is a space in which ceramic loses its essence to float weightless before the spectator’s eyes, at the mercy of the wind, emphasising its fragility.

This  contest, organized by the Ceramic Museum of l’Alcora, has also awarded the work of three other professional potters; Alberto Gonzalez, from Valladolid, who achieved the first prize, Alemany, from Madrid, and Juan Carlos Iñesta, from Valencia, who won the second and third prize, respectively.
