With the purpose of providing Intergift with new contents related to the new trends of distribution and consumption and to offer to the participating companies new spaces of presentation and high visibility, the next edition of this lounge, which has been organized by IFEMA and will take place from the 14 to the 18 of January 2015, convenes the craftsmanship sector in the new area called “Handmade”.

“Handmade” will gather in pavilion 7 of Madrid’s Fair (Feria de Madrid), from the offer of companies specialized in the most traditional craftsmanship or in the innovative designs of the @makers, and the universe of the DIY (Do It Yourself), to the broad world of handicrafts, drawing, patchwork, frames, mouldings and creative hobbies.

All this will configure a unique area with a spatial design that will combine the exhibition zone with an activity square where the exhibitors will be able to carry out workshops, talks and presentations for free and that will serve as a spotlight for customers and press.

With this initiative IFEMA wants to value the creativity and the excellence of a product characterised by the personal signature, which is experimenting an important rising, both in the national and in the international market. A context that offers the participating companies an effective and direct way of presenting their products to the distribution channel, under the setting of one of the big fairs of presents and decoration of international reference in coincidence with the start of the commercial campaign for spring-summer.

As it is usual, Intergift, will take place in coincidence with Bisutex, International Lounge of Costume Jewellery and Accessories (Salón Internacional de la Bisutería y Complementos), and MadridJoya, International Lounge of Urban and Trendy Jewellery and Clockmaking (Salón Internacional de Joyería y Relojería Urbanas y de Tendencia), configuring the big multisectorial event which will inaugurate the annual European circuit of fairs of commodities of 2015. A setting of high corporate representation, that in the previous edition brought together the offer of 1.655 companies of 25 countries, and received the visit of 42.900 professionals, -3.128 of the international market.
