The National Museum of Pottery presents, together with the Càtedra d’Innovación Ceràmica Ciutat de Vila-Real (CICCV), the City Council of Vila-Real and the University Jaume I of Castellón, the exhibition “17 contemporary visions”, which shows a geographical ceramic tour along the different looks of pottery in each of the autonomous communities.

The different ways of using pottery in an artistic contemporary language is put together in this exhibition, conceptual proposals, sculptural and pictorial coexist with those that have roots from the Japanese tradition, or that emphasise the materials themselves through the ceramic object.


This exhibition takes place in the Art and Culture Contemporary Pottery Fair, a long-term project which goal is to promote, spread and encourage the artistic pottery in all its areas and to a worldwide level.
