At the Centre of interpretation of Wine and Cooperage people can visit a small vineyard with every variation that existed in the Maestrat before the appearance of the phylloxera in the XIX century, a tank where grapes were pressed, in different time periods, and in a wooden tank of 60.000 litres of capacity.


The current centre is presented in this category with its sustainable management model that allows to make all the products respecting the environment an the natural resources. This is due to the generation of photovoltaic energy and the self-consumption of water from a well and the reuse of the 50% of sunflower oil used for the generator set. Moreover, the excess of wood is reused and the wood chips are used to fuel the oven and/or generate peat for the vineyards. All of this, trying to maintain an integral and respectful cycle with the environment.
