A non-profit organisation that is supported by the Galician government, the Galician Centre for Crafts and Design (Fundación Centro Galego da Artesanía e do Deseño) won this very prize back in 2012. Its objective is to supply the crafts sector with a specialised infrastructure to develop programmes for help, development, innovation, promotion, commercialisation and any other aspect related to the crafts trades in Galicia. In this regard, the Enredades project is highlighted, which aims to diversify the work of Galician netmakers by creating new products and accessories in collaboration with other sectors, such as the design, fashion, costume jewellery and accessories sectors.
