Marina Palacio Burgueño and Borja Roldán have obtained the first prize in the competition of the artistic intervention of the #BodegasValduero barrels. It is an event that celebrates its third edition and that rewards the most original barrels intervention made by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Complutense University of Madrid.

The first prize, which consists of a travel to #NewYork to visit the #MOMA Modern Art Museum, has been redirected to Marina Palacio Burgueño and Borja Roldán, for her work Dpósito. That is a deconstruction of the original barrel to convert it in an autonomous, expositional set. The second rewarded piece has been Ninfa de Vino, by Alicia Calatayud Campos and David Mansilla Torre, who are going to be honoured with a travel to Berlin to meet the Hamburger Bahnhof museum.

The third and fourth place have been given to Javier Gorostiza Carabaño for his work Cepas y Bodegón, and Mónica Cortés Rojo, for The only thing you can buy that makes you richer.

The different pieces of barrels will be exposed until the 10th January 2018 in the exhibition room of Fine Arts Faculty. Afterwards they will be moved to Gumiel del Mercado, in Burgos, where they will be exposed in the Valduero Museum.
